THIS IS A LIST OF EVERYTHING I USE ON THE SLIM19 BUILD.

CONTROL BOARD LOKI AND SOLDERING (AFFILIATE LINKS)

NOTES:

  1. I have used the A113D Control Board (specifically the one pictured with 2x Square fan ports and 2x Rectangle fan ports. This has worked the best on the S19-KPro Hashboards. I can’t vouch for other boards at this point, but can update if I come across anything better.

  2. Loki Boards are hard to come by these days, but I have been able to find them at Altair, Pivotal Pleb, and Nakamoto Mining in the past.

  3. I have utilized these jumpers (mostly because I didn’t like having a non-used jumper) not necessary, just makes the build look a bit cleaner (in my opinion).

  4. There is a 50/50 chance that the ports are going to be plugged on these Amlogic boards. The Solder Sucker allows you to heat up the solder and suck it out.

  5. This is a Cheap solder stand. I solder so infrequently that this is fine and gets the job done, there are much better ones out there.

  6. Flux, necessary when soldering to get even solder and not damage surrounding components.

4 AWG SUPPLIES AND TOOLS (AFFILIATE LINKS)

NOTES:

  1. I use the Spartan Cables because they are soft and pliable, there are other cheaper options that are harder to work with, but for the price and ease of use, I choose these.

  2. Lugs are pretty straight forward; I use the 1/4 size so that the hole is not overly large to affix to the Hashboard. If you use different lugs just ensure that they can receive 4 AWG and that they also include heat shrink tubing/ or you purchase seperately.

  3. Crimping tool and Cutter: There are tons of options here, these are just the ones I use.

  4. Stripper: Good for precisely cutting the ends of the cable to affix the lugs. Let’s be real here, I have used my teeth, and this is just a “nice to have”.

  5. Hot Air Rework Station: You can use a heat gun or a hair dryer, but I have one of these on hand.
